Weed
The small city of Weed (2010 Census 2,967) is located on Interstate Highway 5 in Siskiyou County. It labels itself "an historic lumber town" and boasts that, in the 1940s, it had the largest sawmill in the world. There is a small timber industry oriented museum in town. Today, it primarily caters to travelers moving up and down the Interstate 5 corridor.
