Skaggs Springs Road extends from Lake Sonoma to Stewarts Point. It is a curvacious paved road that sometimes slims down to one lane in width. It is a beautiful route through rolling hills with oaks, madrones, manzanita to the east and pines, firs, redwoods to the west, and almost no visible human presence anywhere along the way. After a hard rain it is always wise to ask about its condition because slides sometimes make it impassible for a day or two. There are no services on the road.
