At the nearby mouth of the Russian river harbor seals, pelicans, and surfers all share the beauty of another wonderous sunset.

At Jenner the Russian River makes a dramatic entry into the Pacific Ocean, flowing in sinuous curves around giant seastacks of rock. Enjoy the colonies of harbor seals, sea lions, cormorants, pelicans, and gulls, but please don't disturb them.

When the waves are up you can enjoy watching surfers ride into the vast sandy beach. Fine accommodations and restaurants are available.
