Note: In all truth I am not a big fan of stuffed animals, but the Oakland Museum has an extensive and excellent collection of California's birds, fish, rodents and mammals. It is an excellent place to clear up arguments between birders and identify critters that you saw in the wild but don't know much about. If you are travelling with children it is a unique educational resource. |
