Gooding County


Gooding County is located in the extreme south central part of Idaho. The county seat is Gooding. The 2010 census counted 15,464 residents. The county was named for Frank Robert Gooding, a resident of the town of Gooding and an influential Governor of Idaho in the early twentieth century (1905 - 1909). In 1920 Gooding was elected to the U.S. Senate.
