Mesa Falls on Henry's Fork of the Snake River
Mesa Falls is actually two waterfalls on Henry's Fork of the Snake River in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. The upper falls is about 114 feet high and 200 feet wide. The falls and surrounding countryside is well worth a wander. The day that we visited, the wildflowers were magnificent and we spent an hour or so at the upper falls watching a pair of osprey taking turns fishing and feeding their family in their nest at the top of an old snag.
