Seligman

Seligman, Arizona, is located on Interstate Highway 40 roughly halfway between Kingman and Williams. It was established in 1886 as a stop on the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad. A feeder rail line connected Seligman with Prescott. The town was named after the Seligman brothers who financed the Prescott rail connection. Route 66 passed through Seligman and there is a great deal of Route 66 memorabilia in town.
