Navajo National Monument - Trail to Keet Seel Ruins - Summer |
||||
Like Betatakin, the trail to Keet Seel crosses Navajo Nation lands and permission is required from the Visitor Center. The first part of the trail to Keet Seel Ruins is the same as to Betatakin. After decending into the canyon the trail to Keet Seel branches off and follows the main wash to the ruins. The round trip is seventeen miles. Even though the trail crosses and recrosses the wash, there is no potable water available. It is possible to camp overnight near the ruin. |
