Navajo National Monument - Trail to Betatakin Ruins - Summer |

The trail to Betatakin Ruins crosses Navajo Nation lands and is not open all year long. Visitors must be accompanied by a ranger and it is best to check with the Navajo National Monument Visitor Center before planning your trip. The round trip hike is five miles and there is no drinking water available along the way. The guided hike usually takes about five hours. |
