Kinishba Ruins - Winter |

The Kinishba Ruins are located a couple of miles from Fort Apache on the White Mountain Indian Reservation. The Ruin is a 600 room Ancestral Puebloan village occupied from around AD 1250 to 1400. It has been partially excavated and reconstructed. Permission to visit the ruin can be obtained from the White Mountain Apache Cultural Center at Fort Apache. (The remains of the caretaker's house is also on the site.) |
