Bill Williams National Wildlife Refuge - Fall

The Bill Williams National Wildlife Refuge is located on the Colorado River about twenty three miles south of Lake Havasu City. It consists of just over 6,000 acres of classic Sonoran upland desert with the Colorado River running through it. As such it is important to all of the many different types of birds that migrate along this portion of the Pacific Flyway. A number of species nest here and a variety of mammals are found in the refuge as well.
