Upper Antelope Canyon is located on Navajo Nation land just outside of Page, Arizona. It is one of the very finest examples of a true "slot canyon" in the entire United States. Access is controlled by the Navajo Nation and a guide is required. Mid-day is considered the optimum time to visit because lighting (for photographs) is "best." It can be very crowded - particularly in the summer. It is definitely worth a visit. |
