Canyon de Chelly National Monument - Trail to White House Ruin - Early Spring

The trail to White House Ruin is the only trail in Canyon de Chelly National Monument that visitors are permitted to use without special permission and an accompanying guide. The round trip down into the canyon and back up to the rim is 2.5 miles. The ruin takes its name from a long white wall in the upper structure. It was built by Ancient Puebloan People about one thousand years ago.
