Canyon de Chelly National Monument

With the exception of the Trail to White House all visits to the canyon floor in Canyon de Chelly National Monument must be made with the permission of the National Park Service and a qualified Navajo guide must accompany the visitor. There are several ways to visit the floor including driving one's own vehicle. I chose to go on a tour organized by Thunderbird Lodge. |
